Blood Diamond, is surely one of the best movies in 2006.  I was totally blasted away by the high quality of acting the two main actors have brought to the big screen.  People always talk about the bottom line, and the bottom line of this movie is that it is a tremendous character film with two outstanding performances.  Djimon Hounsou is incredible and he simply makes everything look easy with the performance of being a father, he might be the next Denzel in movie history.  Leonardo DiCaprio, who has impressed me twice with the performances in The Departed and now Blood Diamond, has showed to the world that he is a real actor.  Although I used to have little favoritism towards him, now he does have proven me wrong and I am actually becoming a big fan. Mr. Dicaprio, here is my apology! For this coming Academic Award, I will be really astonished if none of this two guys wins any title.  They deserve it, they deserve all!  And for anyone who has not got a chance watching this movie, I strongly recommend you to watch it ASAP.  Blood Diamond, a big hit in 2006, deserves high praise for its high quality.  Blood Diamond, TWO THUMBS UP!!
